Why I'm the right candidate for you...
I believe I can be a useful asset to your business in many ways. I am highly organised, motivated and can work alone or as part of a busy team. I’m aware of the pressure that could come from creative/IT based industries; however I feel my previous experiences have prepared me well.
Learning something new from each and every project is something I am very passionate about; I would relish the chance to continue this. I am polite, easy to get on with and have a good sense of humour, all of which I believe would be an asset to your business.
I have extensive knowledge of the languages, practices and applications below.
Adobe Photoshop + Image Ready: Fully competant in both packages, with 4 years experience, I have developed an excellent level of skill and attention to detail.
XHTML/CSS: I have 3 years experience with programming standards compliant, browser aware, clean code.
Wordpress + PHP: I have extensive knowledge of the Wordpress CMS, enabling extremely diverse and exciting possibilities. 3 years experience.
Mac and Windows literate: I have many years experience using both systems for general tasks as well as design/web production tasks. I am fully comfortable in either environment ( although I do prefer Mac.... )
Education
I have a strong academic background, attending both secondary school (GCSE's) and moving onto sixth form college to study A-Levels. I always tried my hardest throughout my education; something which I believe is reflected in my grades and subsequent qualifications.

- A-Levels: National BTEC Business – Double Distinction (AA), Media Studies- Grade B
- AS Levels: Photography, ICT, Computing
- Others: Web Design Level 2, CIT Image Manipulation (x2)
- Oathall Community College- Secondary School:
- 11 GCSE’s: Grades A* to C
- Key Subjects (Maths, English, Science) A* to B
Employment
I do not feel coming straight out of education is a disadvantage. I am a fresh canvas to build upon. Not tainted, not set in stone, I am ready to learn.

- Having made personal sites for family and friends I have since begun to provide for clients with specific briefs.
- Sainsburys | 2006 - present
- Online shopper responsible for the coordination and organising of shopping for online customers. The main experiences gained include working as part of a busy team, keeping to deadlines and organisation /showing initiative.

- Polite, friendly, approachable:
- I am all three of these. To me they are essential for maintaining respect and a healthy working relationship with peers and co-workers. Manners dont cost a thing.
- Team player, yet individual:
- I am able to work exceptionally within a team; essential for generating ideas and bringing success to tasks. However, when needed I am equally capable of working alone.
